608Pass, available at epa608.techspass.com, is an AI-powered exam preparation platform for the EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification. The platform is operated by Guangdong Foshan Chaochuangyi Network Technology Co., Ltd., the operator of the Techspass platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

  • Email address — only if you choose to provide it (e.g., to save your diagnostic results or receive your study plan).
  • Study progress — your diagnostic results, quiz history, and mock exam scores, stored to provide the Service.
  • Usage data — anonymous, aggregated data used to improve our question bank and AI explanations.

We never see or store your full payment card details — payment information is handled entirely by our payment processor.

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by ClinkBill, our third-party payment processor. When you make a purchase, you provide your payment information directly to ClinkBill. Their use of your personal information is governed by their own Privacy Policy. We receive only the information needed to fulfill your purchase (such as your email address and order confirmation).

4. AI Explanations

When you use the "Ask AI" feature, your question and the relevant exam question text are sent to DeepSeek (platform.deepseek.com) to generate an explanation. We do not send any personal information in these requests.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use only essential cookies and browser local storage to save your study progress, language preference, and session state. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

6. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the Service: saving your progress and delivering your study plan.
  • To fulfill purchases and send transactional emails (order confirmation, support replies).
  • To improve our question bank and AI explanations based on anonymous usage patterns.

We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Service Providers

We use the following trusted service providers to operate the platform:

  • ClinkBill — Payment processing
  • DeepSeek — AI explanation generation
  • Vercel — Website hosting and infrastructure

8. Data Retention & Your Rights

We retain your study progress and account information for as long as your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@techspass.com. Anonymous diagnostic sessions are automatically purged after 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

608Pass is intended for HVAC professionals and students aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
